The practitioners will be able to explain what very brief advice on smoking is, the purpose and its benefits. They will be able to introduce very brief advice into their interaction with people who smoke reflect on their own role and be aware of the support and services available to help people to stop smoking.
Introductory three hour session to raise your awareness of young people’s mental health. Covering common mental health issues, skills to work more efficiently with young people and ways to support.
An in-depth understanding of young people’s mental health and the factors affecting wellbeing. Including practical skills to spot triggers, confidence to reassure and support as well as the knowledge and ability to support a young person.
